Family, friends and guests attended the celebration, followed by a party to celebrate the wedding.

RIO DE JANEIRO, RJ (FOLHAPRESS) - Brazilian volleyball team pointer Douglas Souza officially announced his union with streamer Gabriel (Gabi) Campos this Tuesday (8), in a ceremony held in the interior of São Paulo....
The ceremony took place in the midst of a decisive moment in his career: his return to the national team, after a period away from the team. He has not played for Brazil since the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021, when he announced his retirement from the team to take care of his mental health and deal with physical exhaustion. Douglas got married a week before leaving for Chicago, United States, where he will compete in the next stage of the Volleyball Nations League (VNL).

The relationship between Douglas and Gabriel began in 2017. The couple announced their engagement in April 2023, after proposing the previous year, and have now made the union official.
Olympic medalist in 2016 (gold) and one of the main names in Brazilian volleyball, Douglas shared photos of the ceremony on social media. Records show the couple during the celebration, accompanied by family, friends and athletes who attended the wedding.
