Jota Quest presents two more songs from the album in which Tim Maia sings before the release of the tribute on August 27th Disclosure ? NEWS ? Fourth and final sample from the album in which Jota Quest addresses the repertoire of Tim Maia (1942 – 1998), a phonographic tribute that began recording in 2025 and is scheduled for release on August 27th, the double single with the recordings of “Imunização Racional (Que beauty)” and “Vou com gas” teases two surprises from the album, which will have 16 tracks formatted in the studio with musical production by PJ, bassist and co-founder of the group from Minas Gerais. The first is the presence of the group Os Garotin and Carlinhos Brown in the recording of “Imunização Racional”, a song better known as “Que beauty” and presented by the singer in 1975 on the first volume of the legendary album “Tim Maia Racional”. The trio from Rio de Janeiro shares the singing of “Que Beauty” – strictly speaking, the only hit from Tim's controversial Racional phase – with Jota Quest's vocalist, Rogério Flausino. Brown plays percussion on the track. The second surprise is the memory of Tim's little-known song, “Vou com gas”, composed in honor of Minas Gerais by the artist from Rio and released without repercussion in 1979, in Tim's own voice, on the album “Reencontro”, one of the least heard titles in Tim Maia's official discography in the 1970s.
