According to the local press, Nuriye ?rtem, Ece's mother, indicated that her daughter abused alcohol and took a high dosage of antidepressants. Another question linked to the artist's death is related to a monkey bite during a trip to Thailand. Her lawyer pointed out that injuries were found on the actress's left arm and asked for an investigation into the hypothesis of sepsis, a widespread infection that can be caused by an animal bite. Even with a preliminary report from local authorities, the case is not concluded. The actress's family awaits a definitive examination.
