The preview marks Doctor Doom's first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and sets the stage for one of the franchise's biggest encounters, with the arrival of the Fantastic Four and the X-Men in the battle for the survival of the multiverse. "Doctor Doom" will be the fifth Avengers film and the 39th in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The story will take place 14 months after the events of "Thunderbolts", a feature film released by Marvel in April 2025. Crossover awaited by fans Fans were able to see, for the first time, the look of the X-Men within Marvel's new crossover.
