BRASÍLIA, DF (FOLHAPRESS) - The Federal Police concluded another investigation into undue discounts at the INSS (National Social Security Institute) and indicted six people.

Among those indicted are the former president of the INSS Alessandro Stefanutto, the former attorney general of the institution Virgílio Antônio Ribeiro de Oliveira Filho and the former director of Benefits André Paulo Félix Fidelis.

The three had already been indicted by the PF at the conclusion of the first investigation into the case. Thaisa Daiane, Edjane Rodrigues and Aristides Veras dos Santos were also indicted.

The corporation's final report was sent this week to the minister of the STF (Supreme Federal Court) André Mendonça, rapporteur of the case, last Friday (10).

In July, the PF concluded the first Operation Without Discount investigation with 48 indictments related to the Conafer case (National Confederation of Family Farmers and Rural Family Entrepreneurs).

This stage of the investigation focuses only on discounts made by Conafer and does not involve other characters who were the target of the investigation, such as Fábio Luís Lula da Silva, known as Lulinha, and businesswoman Roberta Luchsinger.
