PF concludes process and recommends Eduardo Bolsonaro’s dismissal for abandoning his position; decision is up to the Minister of Justice The recommendation for Eduardo Bolsonaro's dismissal from the Federal Police puts at risk his connection with a career that offers an initial salary of more than R$14,000 and salary progression over the years of service. The corporation concluded an Administrative Disciplinary Process (PAD) for alleged abandonment of office and forwarded the case to the Ministry of Justice, responsible for the final decision, this Tuesday (21). The former deputy was removed from his role as clerk to serve in the Chamber of Deputies. With the loss of his mandate, in December 2025, he was supposed to return to his activities at the PF, but, according to the administrative investigation, this did not happen. The internal affairs department found unjustified absences for more than 30 consecutive days, a situation that could lead to the dismissal of a federal public servant. In addition to the administrative implications for the former parliamentarian, the case draws attention to one of the main careers of the Federal Police. According to the 2025 Federal Servants' Remuneration Table, the starting salary of a clerk is R$14,164.81. With career progression, remuneration can reach R$21,987.38, depending on the server's class and length of service. What happened Eduardo Bolsonaro has lived in the United States since the beginning of 2025. At the time, he stated that he left the country because he considered it a target of political persecution. In December of that year, the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Deputies decreed the loss of his mandate due to excessive absences. As a result, he no longer had the leave that allowed him to carry out parliamentary activities without working in the Federal Police. The PF then ordered his return to his position as clerk. Given the absence, the Federal Police Internal Affairs Department opened, in January 2026, an Administrative Disciplinary Process to investigate a possible abandonment of the position. After completing the investigation, the PF recommended the dismissal of the former deputy and forwarded the case to the Ministry of Justice.
