Passenger movement at Brazilian airports reached 65.2 million travelers in the first half of 2026, according to data updated by the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac). The result represents a growth of 5.4% compared to the first six months of 2025. Of the total recorded between January and June, according to the government, 50.2 million passengers traveled on domestic flights, while 15 million used international flights. The data shows that the increase in air traffic was driven by both market segments (domestic and international).

In the first half of the year, international transport maintained a growth rate above that of domestic transport. In the month of June alone, Brazilian airports handled 10.3 million passengers, a drop of 0.9% compared to the same month in 2025 — unlike May, which saw an increase of 2.5% in the same comparison. Last month alone, according to Anac data, airports processed 116.1 thousand tons of cargo, a volume 6.6% higher than that recorded in the same month last year. During the period, the domestic segment accounted for 38.3 thousand tons, while the international market handled 77.8 thousand tons.
