IBGE competition: registrations for 1,400 places are extended; see the new deadline

While the first notice, for which registration ended last week, offered 8,238 mid-level vacancies for operational and supervisory roles, this one brings together opportunities for Census Analyst (higher level) and Quality Census Agent (mid-level) – see the difference. Interested parties must register exclusively online, on the Instituto Avalia website, the selection organizing committee. The registration fee varies depending on the position: Quality Census Agent: R$41.76; Census Analyst: R$37.50. The notice provides for exemption from the fee for candidates registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico) and for bone marrow donors who meet the established criteria. Of the total vacancies, 1,020 are for Census Analyst and 394 for Quality Census Agent. Remuneration varies depending on the role: Quality Census Agent (ACQ): requires complete secondary education and offers a salary of R$2,932; Census Analyst (AC): requires higher education in specific areas and offers a salary of R$5,255.40. Census Analyst vacancies cover different areas of training, such as Agronomy, Social Assistance, Librarianship, Cartography, Data Science, Accounting Sciences, Social Sciences, Educational Design, Information Technology, Economics, Production Engineering, Statistics, Geography, Geoprocessing, Journalism, among others. In both positions, the working day is 40 hours per week. In addition to the salary, those hired will be entitled to food allowance of R$1,192 per month, transportation allowance, pre-school allowance and proportional holiday payment and 13th salary, depending on the period worked. ? The Agricultural Census is one of the main surveys carried out by IBGE and aims to gather information on the structure and production of rural establishments. The data collected guides public policies, financing programs and actions aimed at developing the agricultural sector.

?? The 1st National Census of Homeless Population is an unprecedented survey that will map, count and profile people living on the streets across the country. The research will gather information such as number of people, geographic distribution, sociodemographic profile and living conditions. Who can participate? Candidates who meet the education requirements and other conditions set out in the notice may participate. For a Quality Census Agent, a high school diploma is required. For Census Analyst, higher education diploma in the area corresponding to the vacancy. In addition, candidates must: Be at least 18 years old on the date of hiring; Being Brazilian or Portuguese protected by the Statute of Equality between Brazilians and Portuguese; Be up to date with electoral obligations and, in the case of male candidates, also with military obligations; Be in full exercise of political rights; Have physical and mental aptitude to perform the role; Meet the other requirements set out in the notice. Candidates who: Hold a position or job in the federal, state, district or municipal public administration cannot be hired; Are retired from public service or the Armed Forces, Military Police or Military Fire Brigades; Are business owners or administrators, including individual micro-entrepreneurs (MEIs); Have been temporarily hired by the federal government based on Law No. 8,745/1993 in the last 24 months, except in cases provided for by law. Reservation of vacancies The notice provides for reservation of vacancies for affirmative actions, distributed as follows: 5% for people with disabilities (PwD); 25% for black and brown people (PPP); 3% for indigenous people (IP); 2% for quilombola people (PQ). In total, 30% of vacancies are reserved for black and brown, indigenous and quilombola candidates, in addition to a 5% reserve for people with disabilities.
