The Regional Electoral Court of Mato Grosso signed the technical cooperation agreement, which establishes the participation of the Federal Police in the Court's Integrated Management Office (GGI). Among the actions foreseen in the ACT, signed last week, are advance planning based on risk analysis; periodic meetings between bodies; integrated action on voting day; logistics support, identification of sensitive locations and critical points; guarantee of public order, institutional security and the normality of the electoral process.
Both the TRE and the PF must prepare and update the GGI action plan, designate representatives to coordinate and monitor the agreement, share necessary information, respecting the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and the Access to Information Law (LAI), record all deliberations and allow control bodies access to documents related to the agreement.
The TRE is responsible for coordinating the GGI meetings, consolidating information from the Electoral Zones and partner bodies, operationally guiding the Electoral Zones, providing a physical structure for the office to operate, monitoring and evaluating the results of the actions. The Federal Police are responsible for coordinating the security forces within the scope of the GGI, providing human, material and technological resources, maintaining duty on election day for police procedures, investigating electoral crimes and carrying out intelligence actions, producing intelligence reports for the Electoral Court, supporting the TRE-MT when requested and coordinating actions with other security bodies.
