The pre-candidate for the Senate, federal deputy José Medeiros (PL) said that the decision by Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), to prohibit the senator and pre-candidate for president Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) from visiting his father, Jair Bolsonaro, aims to “silence” the former president and favor President Lula (PT).

In his decision, Moraes stated that Flávio failed to comply with the precautionary measure that prohibits Bolsonaro from using social media, directly or through a third party, by publishing a letter from his father on Saturday (11). In the document, Bolsonaro states that Flávio is his “spokesperson” and the candidate chosen to represent him politically. The magistrate suspended Flávio's visit to his father, who is under house arrest, for 90 days.

“It’s obvious that he wants to silence Jair Bolsonaro, it’s clear that it’s an electoral strategy,” he said on social media this Monday (13). "It is a clear interference in the electoral process. We have reached the point of absurdity. He [Moraes] wants to limit the ability to articulate. He wants to weaken the strategy," he said.
