Mauro Mendes says that bad choices can break MT again
Former governor Mauro Mendes (União), on Tuesday (07), stated on social media that bad choices in this year's election for State Government could generate “disastrous consequences” such as corruption and incompetence...
In addition to supporting the re-election of his former deputy and current governor, Otaviano Pivetta (Republicans), the publication sounded like a message about the other pre-candidates.
"The hard lesson that remains: bad choices bring disastrous consequences. Mato Grosso has experienced this before... A while ago, we voted for those who only brought corruption. Then, for those who almost broke the State due to incompetence", he stated.
Mendes pointed out that on election day, scheduled for October 4, voters will be able to make a good or bad choice.
"In October this year, we will also have the opportunity to make good or bad choices. We can choose 4 years of prosperity or 4 years of the fusion of corruption and incompetence. What will be our decision?", he asked.
The former governor concluded by mentioning that, previously, politicians were elected who “turned their backs” on the state. Furthermore, he made a comparison by stating that bad choices led to Brazil's failure in the World Cup against Norway and the same could happen in Mato Grosso.
"The embarrassment of the Brazilian team was just the disastrous result of a series of bad choices. In politics, the people of Mato Grosso have already suffered the effect of this in past times, when we elected politicians who turned their backs on the people. What decision are we going to make this year?", he concluded.
