Whindersson Nunes apologizes to Luísa Sonza for a joke; understand

The joke involved striker Erling Haaland, who scored two goals for the Norwegian team. However, the publication went viral because it indirectly referenced Luísa.

At the time, Whindersson shared a post by Haaland on X and wrote: "I would throw you off the cliff again." The phrase was interpreted by followers as an allusion to the song "Penhasco", released by Luísa Sonza in 2021 and inspired by the end of the relationship between the two. In the song, the singer uses the metaphor of being "pushed off a cliff" to portray the end of her marriage.

Whindersson's publication, however, divided opinions. While some followers viewed the message as a joke, others criticized the comedian for bringing up an episode linked to their old relationship.

This Sunday, the comedian said that the message took "a very wrong turn" and that he spoke to several people in Luísa's personal circle to understand how she felt about the episode. "They said it was a trigger, because it reminded her of the worst moment in her life, it was something very heavy. Then I understood. The intention was not to bring up the worst things the person had experienced." The artist also appealed to haters to stop attacking the singer.

Whindersson Nunes and Luísa Sonza were together for around four years. The relationship began in 2016, the wedding took place in 2018 and the separation was announced in 2020.
