Mara Maravilha mocks Xuxa and says: “Shame on others”
Mara Maravilha attacked Xuxa Meneghel again on social media and increased her criticism of the “O Último Voo da Nave” tour. This time, the presenter reacted to a video in which the Queen of Shorts defends women's rights...
In the recording, Xuxa states that women have the right to choose their own clothes, vote, speak, sing, be happy and move around safely, without suffering violence.
"We, women, have the right to wear whatever clothes we want, we have the right to vote, yes, to speak, to sing and to be happy. We need you to respect our right to come and go, safely and without violence", he declared.

What did Mara Maravilha say about Xuxa?
When sharing the video, Mara mocked the presenter's speech and stated that she also had the right to express her opinion.
"Right to be aware and ashamed of others as a woman! Right to speak, so I spoke, that's it!", she wrote.
The post was followed by other negative content about Xuxa. Mara republished, among them, a video in which journalist Leão Lobo states that the artist “has no talent”.
Mara also criticized the “O Último Voo da Nave” tour
Other publications shared by Mara criticized the show that marks the farewell to the ship used by Xuxa at different stages of her career.
The presenter also made negative comments about the costumes worn by the singer at shows held in São Paulo. The costumes, especially the low-cut bodysuits, sparked debate on social media after the tour's debut.
Xuxa had already reacted ironically to criticism about her clothes. Without mentioning Mara, he asked that negative comments continue to promote the show and joked about changing the name of the tour to “O Último Voo da Virilha”.
Xuxa tour started with sold out tickets
“O Último Voo da Nave” premiered on July 25, in São Paulo, with sold out tickets. The show brings together songs from different phases of Xuxa and Paquitas' careers, characters from their old programs, projections, visual effects and a 360-degree stage.
The agenda includes presentations in Curitiba, Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro. The closing date is scheduled for December 20th, at Maracanã.
Disagreements between Mara and Xuxa are not recent
The demonstrations are part of a sequence of public disagreements between the two presenters. In 2024, Mara had already criticized Xuxa after a joke involving the word “Wonder” during an awards ceremony.
At the time, Mara accused her former colleague of disdaining her stage name and asked Xuxa to review certain attitudes.
Until the publication of the new criticisms, Xuxa had not responded directly to Mara Maravilha's most recent statements.
