The first clash of the day will be between Norway and England, in Miami. The match pits Erling Haaland and Harry Kane face to face, two of the competition's greatest offensive standouts.
Haaland arrives at the duel with seven goals scored, one more than Kane, who has six. The dispute over artillery increases expectations about the behavior of the two defenses.
According to British newspaper The Athletic, England could play Dan Burn, a defender over two meters tall, to try to reduce the physical impact of the Norwegian striker.
Later, Argentina and Switzerland face each other in Kansas City. The Argentine team arrives on the back of five victories in five matches and the victory over Egypt in the round of 16.
Lionel Messi is also one of the main attractions of the duel. The number 10 leads Argentina and remains among the individual highlights of the World Cup.
Switzerland, in turn, secured qualification after eliminating Colombia on penalties. The team led by Murat Yakin is banking on the experience of captain Granit Xhaka to try to stop the Argentines.
The winners of the two games will complete the group of World Cup semi-finalists.
