Virginia and João Guilherme stop following each other on social media

Signs of distancing had already been noticed since May, when João Guilherme did not participate in the birthday party of Maria Alice, Virginia's daughter with Zé Felipe and the actor's niece.

At the time, during an event in São Paulo, João stated that he had not been invited to the celebration held in Goiás.

“I wasn’t invited,” he replied when asked about his absence.

The actor had also expressed discomfort with his nephews' exposure on social media. In addition to Maria Alice, Virginia and Zé Felipe are parents of Maria Flor and José Leonardo.

In an interview with Quem, João said that he intends to adopt a different stance when he has children.

"In my opinion, when I have children, I won't want all this exposure on social media. I don't know what it adds, at this point, for the children," he said.

He also said he worries about the effects of fame and the internet on childhood.

"It will be the first person in my family that I know who will have contact with someone very famous since birth, someone so connected to the internet. I think it is necessary to closely monitor what the girls' relationship will be with the internet and vanity", he declared.

Virginia and Zé Felipe announced the end of their marriage in May 2025. Since then, the influencer has remained closer to Monyque Isabella da Costa, Zé Felipe's sister.

Monyque is in Spain, at Vinicius Júnior's house, with whom Virginia would have resumed her relationship after a brief separation in May this year.

So far, Virginia and João Guilherme have not publicly commented on why they stopped following each other.
