Around 2,000 beer bottles broke on a highway in the city of Sorsogon, Philippines, after a truck lost part of its load while making a curve. The accident happened on June 16, but the images went viral in recent days.
The video shows the vehicle passing through a curve in Barangay Buhatan when the boxes begin to slide off the body. In a few seconds, the bottles fall and scatter across the track.
According to Philippine authorities cited by the international press, the truck was probably overloaded at the time of the accident.
The highway was temporarily closed in both directions. Residents and local teams helped clean the track, which was covered in broken glass, damaged boxes and spilled beer.
