Teacher took photos of babies' genitals and sent them to former presenter

According to the Civil Police of Paraná, the employee worked at a Municipal Early Childhood Education Center and had recorded images of babies during working hours. So far, three possible victims have been identified.

The investigation shows that the businessman requested the material from the teacher, with whom he had a relationship. He worked as a presenter for a regional sweepstakes program shown by broadcasters in the Cascavel region. The woman's identity was not released.

According to delegate Jéssica Farias, the records would have been made while changing the children's diapers. The possibility that the babies suffered other forms of violence is still being investigated, and the investigation is being carried out under secrecy.

The investigations began after reports of sexual abuse involving the businessman reached the Cascavel Women's Police Station. In the first stage of the investigation, search warrants were executed at his residence, in Céu Azul, and at the company he maintained in Cascavel.

Analysis of the seized materials revealed evidence of other crimes and led investigators to the teacher. A search warrant was executed against her, and the evidence gathered led to the request for preventive detention of the two suspects.

They were located in their respective homes. Both of their cell phones were collected and will be submitted for forensic examination, which will attempt to recover deleted files, clarify the context in which the images were produced and check whether there are other victims.

“The seized cell phones will be sent to the Civil Police intelligence agency to verify whether these images actually exist and in what context they were produced,” explained the delegate.

The teacher and the businessman must answer for the crimes of producing and disseminating nude records involving children, provided for in articles 240 and 241-A of the Child and Adolescent Statute.

After the procedures at the Matelândia police station, those investigated were taken to the Medianeira Public Prison, where they remain at the disposal of the Justice Department. The defense of the two had not been located.

City Hall monitors the case

In a statement, Céu Azul City Hall stated that it is following the investigations and classified the episode as an unprecedented event in the municipal education network.

The municipal administration informed that it will adopt the appropriate administrative measures as soon as it officially receives the investigation data. The municipality also declared that it is collaborating with the authorities and reinforced its commitment to protecting children and preserving the identity of possible victims.

Police search for other victims

The Civil Police are now trying to find out if more children were affected and if the files were sent or sold to other people.

Details about the production, storage and circulation of the material remain confidential to avoid further exposure of the victims and their families.
