In a post on social media, the members of G.R.L. they mourned the artist's death and highlighted the memories built alongside her. The group said Lauren will be remembered for her love, laughter and remarkable spirit, which touched the lives of many people.
Singer Aria Crescendo, who was also part of Paradiso Girls, was one of the first to speak out publicly. She published old photos with Lauren and recalled moments lived by the two during their career in the female group.
Born in Meopham, in the county of Kent, England, Lauren began her career at a young age. Before gaining international recognition, he participated in talent contests, sang in pubs and even competed on “The X Factor”. Afterwards, she was invited to join Paradiso Girls.
While still a teenager, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his musical career. With Paradiso Girls, she participated in the single “Patron Tequila”, released in 2009 and which was highlighted on the electronic music charts in the United States.
Worldwide recognition came in 2011, when Lauren sang vocals on “Party Rock Anthem”, a LMFAO song that became one of the biggest hits of that year. The track topped charts in several countries and promoted the artist's name internationally.
Later, Lauren joined G.R.L., a female group that gained notoriety with songs like “Ugly Heart” and “Wild Wild Love”, a partnership with Pitbull. In 2014, the band faced another loss with the death of Simone Battle. After the tragedy, the group launched “Lighthouse” in honor of their colleague and began supporting initiatives focused on mental health.
