The commissioner said a suspect wearing a black mask fired toward the patio where a family was gathered for a barbecue. The shooter fled, but police seized a gun at the scene, according to Tisch. The four children shot are 6, 7, 12 and 14 years old. According to police, there were no reports of any disturbance or fight at the party before the attack.
