According to information from the case, the delivery man, aged 36, would have taken the furniture to the condominium where Renata, aged 46, lives, but refused to complete the delivery, claiming that he would need a helper to transport the load. The decision generated a disagreement between the two.
Videos shared on social media show the pre-candidate, who also works as a pastor, arguing with the worker next to a truck. At one point, she appears to slap the delivery man in the face. He then runs towards the man, while he reacts by saying: "Don't touch me." A third man tries to prevent the situation from getting worse and another person records the entire scene.

Images recorded from another angle show Renata lying on the floor while holding the delivery man's blouse. “Let go of me,” shouts the man, who claims to have been bitten by it. During the confusion, people present asked the pre-candidate to remain calm and warned: "Don't lose your reason."
After the repercussions, Renata stated that the disagreement was politically motivated. In a video published on social media, she declared that the delivery man had already arrived at the location altered and that he knew who she was.
"He arrived altered, creating problems, he knew who I was. He arrived saying partisan and political things," she said. According to her, the men who were at the scene began filming the situation in concert.
Renata also claimed that she received two punches before reacting physically. However, the alleged attacks mentioned by her do not appear in the videos released publicly to date.
The pre-candidate informed that she registered a report and admitted that she was wrong in losing control of the situation. "Out there I lost my head and made a mistake, because I was completely freaking out, thinking he was going to do all that and leave," he declared. She also claimed to suffer from post-traumatic disorder as a result of episodes of domestic violence.
In a note, the press office informed that the case is being investigated and that Renata has "absolute confidence that all events will be rigorously clarified." The statement also states that it repudiates any form of violence, especially against women, and considers acts of intolerance or aggression motivated by political positions unacceptable.
The Civil Police of Minas Gerais reported that those involved gave a statement through the 2nd State Central of Duty Digital and were released. According to the corporation, a procedure was initiated and investigations continue. The identity of the delivery man was not released by authorities.
