According to Porchat, the reaction to the video went beyond criticism of the comedy and reached the members' routine. "Jokingly speaking, which is crazy. Look how comedy is so powerful and strong. We make a joke and the person is so moved by it that they throw bombs and threaten death," he said.
Gregório said he spent around three months accompanied by a security guard, including moments with his daughter, then two years old. "Me going to play with my daughter in the square, with a security guard at my side. It was a very tense time," he said.
João Vicente also reported a police approach that, according to him, occurred during that period. The actor and presenter said he was in a car with Ian Raul Samarão Brandão Fernandes, one of the founders of Porta dos Fundos, and Gabriel Carbonelli do Couto, known as Totoro, when he was stopped in a traffic stop.
"The police officer stopped me, looked at the car and asked for my backpack," he said. According to João Vicente, the agent stayed with the group for around two hours and, before releasing him, said: "If I were from the old guard, you wouldn't leave here today."
In December 2025, Porta dos Fundos' headquarters suffered an attack. According to investigations, the attack was motivated by the film "The First Temptation of Christ", the Christmas special made by Porta dos Fundos that year. The film portrays a gay Jesus Christ, played by Gregorio Duvivier, who has a relationship with the young Orlando, played by Fábio Porchat, and a lying God, played by Antonio Tabet, who lives in a love triangle with Mary and Joseph.
