Jessie J claims that she and Colman decided to end their relationship some time ago. "It has been a sad and difficult situation, but we have been focusing on dealing with the change privately and positively, to a healthy and happy co-parenting environment for our son and ourselves," he wrote.
The singer says the two will continue to support each other as friends and parents to 3-year-old Sky. "We will continue to support each other with love, respect and care as friends and, most importantly, as Sky's mother and father," he stated.
Jessie J explained that the two can appear together as a family or post each other's content on social media. 'We are creating and loving Sky together, supported by a positive friendship' he declared.
