In a post this Tuesday, 14th, on the social network X, Motta wrote about the interaction he held with government ministers. "I optimistically welcome the approval of the increase in the percentage of ethanol in gasoline to 32% by the CNPE (National Energy Policy Council)", he published.
Motta added: "This result is the result of the dialogue I had last week with the Ministers of Planning, Bruno Moretti, and Minister of Mines and Energy, Alexandre Silveira. In a challenging international scenario, we must pursue stability and security for national production."
With the CNPE's decision, there is an assessment in the government that the way is open for the Chamber to remove the vote on the "PLP on fuels" from the agenda, as the economic team itself withdrew the text. However, the project remains on the agenda this Tuesday, 14th.
