Fernanda Paes Leme says she ended up in the hospital after using Mounjaro

Actress Fernanda Paes Leme opened up and stated that she tried to use the drug Mounjaro after the birth of her daughter, Pilar, with the aim of losing weight. In a video published on social media, the actress reported that she had an intense reaction to the medicine, had to go to the hospital and decided to stop using it.

During a speech on her podcast Grande Surto, Fernanda explained that the experience made her own body 'reject' the medicine. "I'm going to be honest here, I tried after Pilar's pregnancy and breastfeeding to take Mounjaro. But I was so sick, so sick... I was sick of (going to) the hospital. My body clearly responded: 'Look, Fernanda, how are you? I understood your intention, but I'm not going to cooperate'. And it didn't cooperate", she reported.

After the situation, Fernanda stated that she looked for another way to achieve her goals and adopted fasting as a strategy. The actress admitted that she could have continued using the medicine if it had not had such severe effects. "If I hadn't gotten sick, I don't know if I would have continued. I don't know if, if I gained a little weight, I would take it to lose weight", he confessed.

However, the artist reflected on the aesthetic pressure and influence exerted on the internet and beauty standards. For Fernanda, this type of stimulus affects even those who believe they are immune to this behavior. "Influence happens this way. It doesn't just catch those who believe in everything, but it catches those who think they are paying attention, but live in the same world, seeing the same images and hearing every day that there is a better version of themselves, hotter and more desirable, waiting to be unlocked", he said.
