Woman discovers that she was registered as the 'mother' of her husband's lover's daughter Pixabay/Disclosure A resident of Santa Catarina discovered in official documents that she was listed as the mother of a girl she never gave birth to or raised. The case was judged by the 1st Civil Court of Porto União, in the North, and is being held in secret. According to the Court of Justice (TJSC), the child was registered in her name by her late husband without her knowledge. During the process, the woman declared that the girl was the result of an extramarital relationship with her ex. ?Click and follow the g1 SC channel on WhatsApp Justice ordered the change in the birth certificate Years later, upon learning of the registration, the woman filed a lawsuit. Throughout the process, the person registered as the daughter recognized that another woman was her biological mother. A DNA test also confirmed the lack of relationship between the two.

In the decision, the judge highlighted that, in addition to the genetic test, a social assessment confirmed the lack of bonds of affection between the two. The judge also pointed out that, as the young woman herself agreed to the request, there was no need to assess whether there was any type of creative connection between them. As a result, the court ordered the change in the birth certificate to remove the name of the woman and her parents (the maternal grandparents on the document).
