In total, 16 employees, former employees and managers were charged with criminal charges. "They knew. They chose to pretend to do maintenance. Look at the seriousness of this. This is so surreal. It looks like a horror movie. So, I really hope with all my heart that these people pay and go to prison", says Adriana. Confirmation of the tragedy: After about five hours of waiting, confirmation came with the daughter's name on the passenger list. "Until that moment, you're like: 'My God, tell me this is a lie, tell me what you're having is a nightmare'."
The release of the body: The vice-president of the family association describes the following days as a period of pain and bureaucracy. "Recognizing Liz's little body took almost a week" and, after that, it was necessary to deal with the death certificate, wake and return to Cascavel.
The search for information: Still in the midst of grief, she began looking for answers about the accident. "I'm a journalist, I've always asked questions. And, suddenly, the questions I needed to ask were about my daughter."
Cenipa's first report: Adriana considers that the preliminary presentation made to family members, about a month after the tragedy, was important in providing guidance. “It gave us direction.”

Almost two years for the outcome of the investigations: Adriana states that her family closely followed the work of the authorities. "Me and everyone on the board, we spent two years going to Campinas, trying to keep up."
The conclusion of the PF investigation: For Adriana, the result was one of the most anticipated moments since the tragedy. "There is a very high expectation" and, now, "the path is for these 16 defendants to be guilty and serve their sentences."
