Using a knife to threaten him, the criminal claimed that the victim's son had been kidnapped and demanded the handover of all the money in the house. Under threat, the elderly man handed over approximately R$5,000 in cash, and the criminal then fled. By analyzing images from security cameras and other elements, the police were able to identify the perpetrator of the crime. He was located by the corporation in Ponta Grossa, a city that is approximately 40 kilometers away from the city where the crime took place. The police found part of the stolen money and portions of crack already broken up for sale. When questioned, the man confessed to having committed the robbery and indicated the place where he had hidden the rest of the money, the clothes used during the crime and the knife used in the crime. The teams located the objects and recovered all of the value stolen from the victim. The author was arrested red-handed and taken to the Flagrantes Regional Center.
