One person dies after an accident near Paraíso do Tocantins Marco Dinei Marques Gonçalves, aged 51, is the victim of the rollover on BR-153, in Paraíso do Tocantins. According to the Fire Department, he was trapped in the wreckage and died at the scene. One person was injured in the accident. The accident happened at km 501 of the highway, about 10 km from Paraíso, towards Pugmil, on Saturday morning (11). The injured victim was found outside the vehicle, received pre-hospital care, was stabilized and taken to the Paraíso Regional Hospital. The firefighters carried out the work to rescue and extricate Marco Dinei's body with support from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), but he was declared dead at the scene of the accident. Disclosure/CBMTO According to the Public Security Secretariat, it was determined that Marco was driving the vehicle when he performed a maneuver to avoid a truck, left the road and overturned. The Federal Highway Police (PRF) signaled and controlled traffic on the highway while responding to the incident. Forensic experts were called in for legal procedures, and the victim's body was taken by the Legal Medical Institute (IML) of Paraíso, underwent examinations and was released for burial.
