Federal University of Rondônia, Unir Jaíne Quele Cruz/g1 The Federal University of Rondônia (Unir) should expand, from 2027, the degree programs offered. Eight new free courses will be distributed on the Porto Velho, Guajará-Mirim, Ariquemes and Cacoal campuses. Selection for vacancies will be made exclusively by Sisu, based on the Enem score, following the MEC calendar. In total, 285 more places will be offered. Among the highlights of the expansion is the Speech Therapy course, which will make Unir the first public university in the North Region to offer this degree. To get off the ground, new courses must be vetted by the university's internal councils. The schedule predicts that the last degree to be implemented in this stage will be Physiotherapy, with classes starting in 2028. History of expansion Between 2023 and 2026, Unir had already expanded its operations in Rondônia with the creation of nine courses on six campuses, divided between in-person and distance learning degrees.
