Before the decision, Antônio Lisboa Leitão de Souza worked as an associate professor at the Federal University of Campina Grande and was a permanent member of the Postgraduate Program in Education (PPGEd-UAED-CH). At the institution, he guided studies and research in the areas of Educational History, Policy and Management. In addition to his academic work, the professor was also a member of the Municipal Education Council of Campina Grande, where he served as member and vice-president between 2014 and 2016. The publication in the Official Gazette of the Union does not detail the episodes that led to the opening of the administrative process nor does it inform when the complaints were registered. The document also does not present information about possible criminal investigations. g1 contacted UFCG's Permanent Disciplinary Administrative Process Commission (CPPAD) in search of more information about the case. The president of the commission informed that the process is being processed under secrecy and there has not yet been a final decision at the administrative level. According to him, the procedure is currently at the Ministry of Education (MEC) and, after the definitive conclusion of the analysis, the body must forward the decision to UFCG for compliance.
