In addition to foods with an expired expiration date, there was also the registration of products of animal origin without traceability, without identification of the producing establishment and without proof of registration with the competent official inspection bodies. This same establishment presented an expired Certificate of Approval from the Military Fire Department. In the second restaurant inspected, the agency's agents found problems such as the production and packaging of sauce intended for sale without observing mandatory labeling requirements. The agency pointed out that the packaging did not contain essential information for the consumer, such as date of manufacture, expiration date and list of ingredients. Health Surveillance issued a Notification Term so that the establishment promotes the adequacy of the non-conformities highlighted by the body. Food found not complying with health standards was discarded in the presence of inspection teams, in accordance with the procedures adopted by Health Surveillance. In view of the irregularities found, a Notice of Infraction was drawn up by MP-Procon and an Inspection Term by the Health Surveillance.
