With the impact, they were thrown into the air and then fell to the ground. The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Nelson Rosa Pinheiro. The passenger was Joelma Pereira Cota. The accident happened at kilometer 214 of the highway. The pickup driver suffered only minor injuries. He was taken to the Municipal Hospital of Rondon do Pará, where he received medical care.
