The case happened at km 322, around 8:10 am. The agents were patrolling the stretch when they approached a vehicle with license plates from Itajaí (SC) and reported stolen last Sunday (5). According to the Federal Highway Police, during the approach, the 27-year-old driver said he was an employee of the company that owned the vehicle. Still according to the PRF, he also told the agents that the company was aware of the theft. The man was instructed to go to a street in Nova Iguaçu (RJ), where the car had been abandoned, to look for the vehicle.
