The ordinance was published in the Official Gazette of Tocantins on July 9, 2026. According to the document, civil servants are investigated for: Using their position to take personal advantage or that of third parties, to the detriment of the dignity of public service; Receive bribes, commissions, gifts or advantages of any kind, due to their duties; Using personnel or material resources of the department in particular services or activities. According to the Public Servants Statute, infractions, if proven, can lead to dismissal.
