The other dead was José Luan Ferreira de Lima, Luan Bananinha, 15 years old. He and Natali had been dating for a week before the crime. The Civil Police said that at least 50 shots were fired at the victims, with Luan being the most hit by at least 20 shots.

Against the couple of brothers, around 10 shots were fired at each one. Investigations indicate that the crime may be related to drug trafficking, whether due to debt or a dispute over territory. According to the military, the victims were in a residence located on Rua Manoel Cachoeira da Silva, in a region known as Cohab dos Grilos, close to a forested area that is difficult to access. Inside the property, police found two bodies in the living room and the third in one of the bedrooms. In addition, several detonated ammunition cases and intact ammunition were located near the victims. The Legal Medical (IML) and Criminalistics (IC) institutes were called to carry out the examination and collect the bodies.
