Fatal victims of accident on BR-412, in Cariri da Paraíba Montagem/g1 The three fatal victims of the accident recorded on the afternoon of this Wednesday (15) on BR-412, between São João do Cariri and Boa Vista, in Cariri da Paraíba, were traveling in a caravan that was destined for a conference at an evangelical church in Campina Grande, Agreste da Paraíba. Six other people were injured and were taken to the Campina Grande Emergency and Trauma Hospital. The accident happened around 2:30 pm, at kilometer 31 of BR-412, in the city of São João do Cariri, close to the city of Cabaceiras. According to witnesses, one of the passenger cars stopped on the shoulder and then a trailer loaded with ore collided head-on with the vehicles. ? The three were part of the Verbo da Vida Church in the cities of Petrolina, Pernambuco, and Queimada Nova, Piauí, and traveled to the Northeast Conference of Ministers, held in Campina Grande. According to a note released by the Verbo da Vida denomination, Alba Simões was vice-president of the NGO Movimento; Gean Santos pastored the Verbo da Vida Church in Queimada Nova, Piauí; and teenager Ruth Gomes gathered at Verbo da Vida in Petrolina. Videos trending on g1 The church also lamented in a statement the death of the fatal victims and reiterated that the other occupants of the vehicles involved were rescued alive. The Campina Grande Emergency and Trauma Hospital reported that six patients who were victims of the accident, three men and three women aged between 35 and 55, were admitted to the unit. All of them are undergoing medical procedures and their health status has not been disclosed in detail.
