Part of building collapses in Commerce in Belém Belém City Hall, through the Executive Secretariat for Public Order and Civil Defense, authorized the opening of pedestrian crossings at four intersections in the city's Historic Center starting this Wednesday morning (8). The measure applies to the following points: 13 de Maio lane with 7 de Setembro lane; 13 de Maio street with Campos Sales street; Padre Eutíquio street and Manoel Barata street; and Travessa Padre Eutíquio with Rua João Alfredo The intersections were blocked after the facade of a historic house on Travesa 13 de Maio collapsed on Monday (7). Fire Department teams were called to respond to an imminent risk incident at the location. The military was already isolating the area when the structure gave way. Nobody was injured. Despite the opening for pedestrians, vehicle circulation remains prohibited on these stretches. The restriction remains in place due to the continuity of the manor's shoring services, which are being carried out by the company hired by the property owner. The immediate surroundings of the building remain isolated as a safety measure for the population. According to the city hall, teams from the Municipal Department of Security, Public Order and Mobility (Segbel) remain in the region to guide drivers and pedestrians, in addition to organizing traffic flow. ?
