The stretch underwent a week of works to prevent irregular conversions by trucks and buses, maneuvers that caused accidents in the area. The release was scheduled for Friday (31), but was delayed due to problems in applying the concrete. Now, the track has new paintwork and protective barriers on the sides. With the reopening, the concessionaire that manages the road reinforced traffic rules on the stretch. See below: ? Allowed: only cars and motorcycles can use the return at km 112. ? Prohibited: trucks, trailers and buses cannot maneuver on site. These vehicles must proceed to exit 113B to return. History of accidents The works were carried out to reduce accidents and congestion in the region. From January to July this year, 11 heavy vehicles overturned or got stuck when trying to return at km 112. See recent cases: February: a truck overturned during the turn and blocked the road. June: a travel bus got stuck and a trailer fell into the median.
