From that moment on, investigations were directed towards this situation", explained the delegate. During the investigations, the police discovered that the victim personally went to the property to speak to these tenants and that was the last time the elderly man was seen. "There was a disagreement there regarding payments for rent, water, electricity. From these disagreements, it ended up evolving into a fight, which then resulted in this brutality, where two men took the life of an elderly man", reported the delegate. Given the information gathered by the investigation, the agents went to the location, where they found the body buried in the backyard. The police chief believes that the murder took place on Monday (20). "The brutality of how this crime was carried out and committed is striking, because when this elderly man was unearthed, it was possible to see that his hands and feet were tied, and there was a rope around the victim's neck", described Matte.
