Sicoob Credisul branch in Acrelândia (AC) gains new space to strengthen business and service Disclosure With an economy driven by agribusiness and constantly expanding, Acrelândia (AC) now has an even more modern Sicoob Credisul branch. The cooperative reopened its unit at a new address — Av. Brasil, nº 276, Centro —, offering members a broader, more comfortable structure prepared to keep up with the city's growth and the growing demand for financial solutions. The delivery of the new space took place last Thursday (9) and represents another investment by Sicoob Credisul in the North region. The branch has service rooms, wider relationship environments, state-of-the-art ATMs and a coffee space, providing more comfort, privacy and security. With around 14,700 inhabitants, Acrelândia is considered one of the main powers of Acre agribusiness. It is among the largest agricultural producers in the state and stands out for its cultivation of coffee, bananas, cassava and grains, in addition to the strength of family farming and livestock farming. In 2024, it ranked second in Acre in terms of agricultural production value, highlighting the importance of the sector for the local economy. For the president of the Board of Directors of Sicoob Credisul, Ivan Capra, investing in the agency's infrastructure means monitoring the city's development and strengthening cooperativism. "We are constantly evolving to offer increasingly better service to our members. Acrelândia is a city with a strong vocation for agribusiness, a dynamic economy and great potential for growth. We brought a modern structure, prepared to meet the needs of this community and contribute to new businesses happening, further strengthening cooperativism in the region." The reopening ceremony brought together cooperative members, authorities and local leaders at a special cocktail party. The chairman of the Board of Directors of Sicoob Credisul, Ivan Capra, was present; the cooperative’s CEO, Vilmar Saúgo; the president of OCB/AC, Valdemiro Rocha; the mayor of Acrelândia and the president of the City Council. According to the agency manager, Elessandro Almeida, the new space represents an important advance in the experience offered to members. "We have prepared a modern agency, with more comfort, technology and environments designed to offer even closer and quality service. It is an investment that strengthens our operations in the municipality and follows the development of Acrelândia." Acrelândia became part of Sicoob Credisul's operating area in 2022, after the incorporation of Sicoob Acre. Since then, the cooperative has been expanding its presence in the municipality, with investments in the physical structure and in the offering of financial products and services aimed at both individuals and companies and rural producers. For the CEO of Sicoob Credisul, Vilmar Saúgo, the new unit represents an investment in the future of Acrelândia. "We are expanding relationship, business and development opportunities for members and the entire city. This is how Sicoob Credisul operates, growing together with the communities where it is present", he emphasized.
