SENAI-MA opens 180 free places for technical courses in São Luís and Açailândia Reproduction/Ascom The National Industrial Learning Service (SENAI-MA) has registrations open for 180 free places in technical qualification courses offered through the SENAI Regimental Free Program. The opportunities are aimed at SENAI units in São Luís, in the Monte Castelo neighborhood, where 150 places are offered for technical courses in Baking, Renewable Energy Systems and Computer Networks. In Açailândia, there are 30 places for the Metallurgy Technician course. In São Luís, the three courses will be held in person. For the Bakery Technician course, 30 places are offered, with a workload of 960 hours, in the morning shift, from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. The course aims to train professionals capable of coordinating bakery product manufacturing processes and carrying out laboratory analyses, observing technical standards, quality requirements, hygiene, health and environmental sustainability. For the Renewable Energy Systems and Computer Networks courses, 120 places will be offered in São Luís. The Renewable Energy Systems Technician course has a workload of 1,200 hours and offers 30 places in the afternoon shift. The training seeks to develop skills to work in the management of renewable energy systems, considering legislation, technical standards, quality, health, work safety and environmental sustainability requirements. The Computer Network Technician course has a course load of 1,000 hours and offers three classes: two in the afternoon shift, with 30 places each, and one in the morning shift, also with 30 places. The course prepares professionals to install, configure, manage and maintain residential and corporate computer networks, in accordance with technical standards, quality standards, security and green IT practices. Registration for courses in São Luís must be made in person between the 15th and 24th of July 2026, at SENAI Monte Castelo, located at Avenida Getúlio Vargas, nº 2,888. The selection process will be carried out through the analysis of the academic record from the 1st year of high school. In Açailândia At the SENAI unit in Açailândia, 30 places are offered for the Metallurgy Technician course. The training has a workload of 1,320 hours, will be carried out in the morning shift, from 7:30 am to 11:30 am, and is scheduled to start on August 24th. Registrations must be made in person between July 13th and August 14th, 2026, at the SENAI unit, located at Rua Dr. Luís Alfredo Ribeiro, s/n, Vila Bom Jardim. The course aims to develop skills to work in the execution and supervision of metallurgical processes for transforming materials, carrying out technical and operational controls in accordance with quality, health, safety and environmental standards. The selection process will consist of an objective test of Portuguese Language and Mathematics, scheduled for August 17th. In total, there are 180 vacancies. When registering, the candidate must present the originals and copies of the identity card, CPF, proof of residence, a recent 3x4 photo, in addition to the enrollment declaration or certificate of completion of high school and self-declaration of low income. The notices are available on the SENAI-MA website, in the Selection Processes – Students tab. The results of the selection processes will be published on the institution's official website. The vacancies are intended, primarily, for low-income people, employed or unemployed workers who are studying at least the 2nd year of high school or who have already completed this stage of education.
