Registration open for free design and entrepreneurship course for artisans Reproduction/Disclosure Registration is open until July 19th for the second edition of the Design School for Artisans – Turma Transpetro, an initiative carried out by Rede Asta, which will select 120 women artisans for a free training day in design, entrepreneurship and business management. Classes begin on August 5th and will be held online over five months, bringing together participants from 21 municipalities in the Central-West, Northeast and North regions of Brazil. ?Download the g1 app to see MA news in real time and for free. The training is aimed at strengthening artisanal businesses and combines classes and thematic lives to develop skills in areas such as business organization, communication, sales, customer relationships, digital presence and strategies to increase the competitiveness of businesses. In addition to training, the project provides awards for engagement during training, recognizing the active participation of artisans throughout the journey. At the end of the course, 12 participants will receive seed capital, a financial incentive intended for investment in their own businesses. For Alice Freitas, co-founder of Rede Asta, initiatives such as the Design School expand the growth possibilities of artisanal enterprises by combining technical training and business development. "Brazilian crafts bring together knowledge, identity and creativity. When these women have access to management, design and entrepreneurship tools, they strengthen their businesses, expand income generation opportunities and begin to access new markets without giving up what makes their products unique", says Alice Freitas, co-founder of Rede Asta. The second edition of the School of Design for Artisans is aimed at women from the municipalities of Brasília (DF); Abadiânia, Alexânia, Bela Vista de Goiás, Bonfinópolis, Santo Antônio do Descoberto and Senador Canedo (GO); Itabuna, Jequié, Candeias, Madre de Deus and Itagibá (BA); Fortaleza and São Gonçalo do Amarante (CE); São Luís (MA); Cabo de Santo Agostinho and Ipojuca (PE); Guamaré (RN); Aracaju (SE); Coari (AM); and Belém (PA).
