Man jumps gate, invades house, gets into a physical fight with resident and ends up dead A man was found dead, with his hands and feet tied, in Sarandi, in the North of Paraná. According to Civil Police Chief José Pacheco, he broke into a house and was attacked by the resident. The situation happened on Thursday (9). The delegate explained that the resident said in his statement that he was sleeping, when he woke up and was surprised by the man inside his room. A security camera filmed the moment the intruder jumped the gate and entered the house. Meanwhile, the wife asked neighbors for help, who went to the address. The man was found by the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM), with his arms and feet tied, bleeding from the mouth and unconscious. The team called the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) who went to the scene, but he was dead when help arrived. The deputy reported that no type of weapon, such as a gun or knife, was found on the suspect. Man jumped gate, broke into house and was killed by resident, in Paraná. GCM Sarandi The delegate explained that the man's death will be investigated as "possible bodily harm". The resident and others involved were not arrested because Pacheco understood that he acted in self-defense. In total, seven people were interviewed. "There was strong evidence of elements of self-defense. Therefore, the opening of the police investigation seeks to clarify the entire dynamics of these facts [...]", the police chief said. The police are awaiting the autopsy reports to determine the cause of the man's death and conclude the investigation. The man had a criminal history, according to the delegate, but the crimes for which he was responsible were not disclosed.
