The gross monthly fee is R$8,888.88, reduced to R$7,999.99 with a discount. In Itacoatiara, Afya Faculdade de Ciências Médicas offers three full scholarships: one for broad competition, one for PPI candidates and one for people with disabilities. The monthly fee for the course is R$8,755.29. How to register Candidates must register through the Single Access Portal of the Ministry of Education (MEC), using the Gov.br account login. The MEC advises students to monitor the deadlines and check that all information was sent correctly during the registration period. Who can participate To compete for a Medicine scholarship through Prouni, the candidate must have participated in the National High School Exam (Enem) of 2024 or 2025 and have achieved a minimum average of 450 points in the five tests, in addition to a grade above zero in the essay. It is also necessary to have completed all of high school at a public school or as a full scholarship student at a private school. Students who took the Enem as "trainers" cannot participate. 2nd SEMESTER FIES: registrations begin on July 14th Income criteria Full scholarships, which cover 100% of the monthly fee, are aimed at candidates with a gross monthly family income of up to one and a half minimum wages per person. Partial scholarships, when available, are aimed at students with a family income of up to three minimum wages per person. Schedule The result of the first call will be announced on July 15th. The second call is scheduled for August 5th. After these steps, the MEC will open the period for expressing interest on the waiting list on August 26th and 27th.
