Registration is aimed at black artists, groups and collectives. According to the notice, 15 proposals for theater, dance, short scenes and performances will be selected. The festival will be held from October 13th to 17th, in São Luís and the metropolitan region. The festival was created by actresses and cultural producers Larissa Ferreira and Júlia Martins and aims to strengthen the circulation, visibility and recognition of black, Afro-indigenous and Afro-diasporic performing arts, bringing together artists from different regions of the country in a free program of presentations and training activities. ? "We received very significant interest from artists and groups from different states and we understand that the extension is a way of expanding access to the notice, allowing more people to have time to organize their documentation and complete their registrations. We want to build a diverse, plural and representative program of the power of Brazilian black performing arts, bringing together different territories, languages ??and experiences in the same meeting", he explains. Who can participate? Groups, collectives, companies with black leadership, solo artists, quilombola collectives and independent performing arts groups composed mainly of black artists can participate. The works entered must have at least 50% plus one of self-declared black members in the artistic and technical composition. In total, up to three theater shows, three dance shows, five short scenes and four performances will be selected. Fees vary between R$800 and R$5,000, depending on the category entered. Registration is free and can be done using the form available on the event's official Instagram page. To participate, proponents must fill out all the mandatory fields on the form and attach the artist or group's portfolio, the link to the video of the proposal, in good quality and without edits, in addition to the synopsis, the release, the technical sheet, the summary CV of the team and the show's technical rider. It is also necessary to send self-declarations from black members who make up the majority of the team, according to the model provided in the notice. Each artist or group may submit up to two proposals, regardless of the category.
