The case took place in the Bracuí neighborhood. According to the Military Police, teams set up a siege at strategic points and spotted the 18-year-old boy leaving a community in the neighborhood. During the approach, police found money and a cell phone on the suspect. According to information from the corporation's intelligence sector, the young man worked as a drug manager in the region. During the action, the 14-year-old teenager was caught carrying a replica rifle. To the police, the boy admitted to having painted the object black to simulate a real firearm. The Military Police also reported that the teenager's mother arrived at the scene of the incident and threw punches and slaps at the young man. The woman had to be restrained by the agents to preserve the boy's physical integrity. The case was registered at the Angra dos Reis police station. The 18-year-old suspect was arrested and remained in prison. The 14-year-old teenager responded for an infraction similar to the crime of association for drug trafficking and was released at the police unit under the responsibility of his mother.
