Angra dos Reis Police Station Disclosure/Civil Police A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder of a 21-year-old young man, this Sunday morning (12), in Angra dos Reis (RJ). The crime took place during the early hours of the morning in the town of Santa Rita do Bracuí. According to the Military Police, teams were called early in the morning to investigate the homicide and began investigations in the region with the aim of identifying the perpetrator and motivation for the attack. Also according to the PM, images from security cameras, not released by the police, showed the moment a car arrived at the victim's address with four occupants. Three men disembarked, invaded the property where the young man was sleeping and fired several shots. The group collected the young man's body and abandoned it on a road in the Gamboa do Bracuí neighborhood, approximately two and a half kilometers away from the scene of the murder. Based on the analysis of the images and witness reports, the agents identified the vehicle used in the action and located the 31-year-old suspect. To the police, he confessed that he gave the car for personal use so that other individuals could commit the murder. The teams carried out searches in the region, but the other authors were not found at first. The case was registered at the Angra dos Reis police station. After the statements and integrated intelligence work, the car owner remained in prison for direct participation in the crime. Investigations continue to locate and capture the others involved.
