The accident happened around 8:20 pm, at km 9, towards the coast. According to information from the São Paulo State Transport Agency (Artesp), the motorcyclist was traveling along lane 3 when the pedestrian tried to cross the road. The driver was unable to brake or swerve in time and hit the victim. As a result of the impact, the motorcycle fell onto the road. The pedestrian died at the scene. The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries. ?
