According to the rule, perpetrators of attacks must fully reimburse the costs of consultations, exams, medications, hospitalizations and other procedures carried out in hospitals and state health units. The amounts will be calculated based on the official SUS table and allocated to the State Health Fund (FES). The charge will be applied after the attacker has been formally identified, based on reports from the Civil Police or decisions from the Judiciary. According to the decree, the procedure is patrimonial in nature and does not replace criminal liability or other sanctions provided for by law. The text also determines that assistance to victims cannot suffer any delay or restriction due to the compensation process. Furthermore, information about the woman's location and contact must remain protected during the administrative procedure. The decree will not have retroactive effect. Therefore, the charge will only apply to cases of domestic violence and services provided after the publication of the rule. According to data from the Ministry of Women, Pará recorded, in 2025, an average of 28 cases of violence against women per day.
