The arrests are part of the 8th phase of Operation Coalition for Peace, launched by the Integrated Force to Combat Organized Crime in Pará (FICCO/PA). According to FICCO/PA, 32 arrest warrants were issued by the State Court of Pará. According to the investigations carried out by Operation Coalização, "those investigated are identified as members of a criminal organization". It was not known for which crimes all the suspects are being investigated in this operation and who they are. Where the arrests were: In Pará, the prisons were in Belém, Ananindeua and Marituba, in the metropolitan region, Castanhal, Santa Izabel do Pará, in the northeast of Pará, Trairão and Vitória do Xingu, in the southwest of Pará, Santarém, in the West, and Curralinho, in Marajó.
